We provide Dog Boarding Services in the comfort of a dog professional’s home. Fenced backyard, doggy play dates, off-leash romps, & the comfort of home. We provide all the toys, beds, poo bags, and bowls for your dog’s stay. All you need to pack is their food for the duration of the stay.

Located in Clayton, ON (20 mins from Carleton Place/Almonte, 40 mins from Kanata)

Our Boarding Principles:

• Dogs do need to be comfortable (and quiet) being crated when unsupervised and overnight. It is not safe to leave multiple dogs loose unsupervised. *Training options available for dogs requiring crate training – click here for Training Programs.
• We provide general pack manners, socialization, & structure during boarding stays.
• Daily exercise, including off-leash hikes, and play dates with other dogs.
• Our facility has 58 acres of private hiking trails. We specialize in off-leash pack adventures and boarding clients would be suitable for that lifestyle. Not a kennel. *Training options available for off-leash recall training and dog-socialization – click here for Training Programs.
• We typically have 2-3 dogs during boarding stays. During peak holiday times we may add 2-3 more dogs to accommodate the demand of our regular clients. This can vary for each LFT Boarding Provider.

Boarding Pick Up & Drop Off at LFT

Mon/Wed/Thurs 7:30am-9am or 4:30pm-6pm at the daycare building (turn left at end of driveway). We run a daycare program these days and boarding dogs join the daycare (if suitable).

Fri/Sat/Sun/Tues times flexible between 7:30am-6pm at the house. Times based on availability – email info@laurinfulton.com to book your preferred drop off/pick up time.

Day in the Life:

• morning potty break/fenced backyard romp
• morning breakfast fed in each dog’s crate
• morning one hour hike
• down time/crated after hike 2-3 hours or so
• free time/potty break
• evening dinner fed in each dog’s crate
• bedtime potty break
• crated overnight
